TIME TO ESCAPE & ENJOY A NEW CYCLING EXPERIENCE
I’m thrilled to share some news regarding a highly exciting project I’ve been working on with some fantastic partners. After careful planning, we are ready to launch a new concept that will allow you to step into the (cycling) shoes of the world’s most famous cycling heroes.
A modern and innovative cycling holiday/training camp, delivered with traditional passion, at a competitive price. We’ll be offering superb 4 star hotels, specially selected for their understanding of cyclists’ needs. So in tune that they are already the chosen annual training venues of some of the World’s top professional teams.
The launch session will run between Saturday 26 March and Saturday 9 April 2022. There will be 7, 10 or 14 day options. The venue will be Calpe on the stunning Mediterranean Costa Blanca coast of Spain. Expect superb cycling roads, mountainous, hilly, and flat, and beautiful Spring weather – warm and dry, but not excessively hot.
Because we know that not everyone is a WorldTour pro, each day there’ll be a choice of guided rides according to ability. No one will get left behind, our trained ride guides will look after you all the way. And we want you to return home not only fitter but also better-informed, so we will have a well-known, fully qualified coach on site to advise you, whatever your current level, with informal evening talks and discussion groups at our dedicated cycling hub. Our coach will also be available for individual consultations.
You won’t even need to bring your own bike – we have negotiated a price with our local partners which includes a stable of excellent Trek Emonda road bikes, which our mechanics will ensure are set up to fit you on arrival. All you need to bring is your pedals (though if you do want to bring your own bike, then of course you can).
The prices for this initial session will be 7 days for €980, 10 days for €1365, 14 days for €1880, which we believe are very competitive for this first-class experience. There is a supplement for a single room. Full terms and conditions are available on the online booking form. For maximum flexibility, so you can choose your departure airport to suit you, flights and transfers are not included in these prices, but we have negotiated special rates and can book flights for you – whichever you prefer.
By the way, Calpe is also a great place to bring your non-cycling other half, with lots to do, picturesque beaches, bars and restaurants, quaint towns to explore, and much more; and at that time of year it’s significantly less busy than the summer tourist season.
I know there are other cycling holidays and training camps, but we are aiming to make this one more than a bit special and memorable so that you come back again! This is the first session for Clásica, we aim to make it a success and we plan to expand with Autumn breaks too, plus a longer period of availability in Spring 2023.
